Asset Manager – Retail (Paris)

Our client is an entrepreneurial, institutionally-partners investment management firm who specialise in commercial real estate. As of today, our client is responsible for approximately €7b EUR of assets under management with offices in multi major European cities.

The ideal candidate shall actively contribute to the asset management of a growing portfolio of 20+ properties located across major cities in Europe. The candidate shall be based in Paris and be expected to travel of a regular basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Organise handover of newly acquired properties from the acquisition team
  • Executes or supervises post-acquisition obligations and operations
  • Developers and manages business planed including investment objectives, goals and asset quality
  • Performs on-site property visit with the Property Manager and conducts to review to evaluate performance
  • Determines, implements and follows-up on and corrective action plans for deficiencies found on the property
  • Resolves all escalated issues and eventual tenant or service provider complaints
  • Controls the coherency of Portfolio level CPI working tools in collaboration with the property manager including Tenancy Schedule, Lease Expiry Profile, annual capex budgets and non-recoverable costs
  • Responsible for driving leasing activities and multi-let properties
  • Responsible for managing and supervising the execution on capex buildings
  • Review and control of quarterly find and asset management reporting
  • Annual business plan and cash-flow updates

Candidate Profile:

  • Candidate must have 3-5 years successful AM experience (ideally in high-street retail)
  • Ability to coordinate actions within an international framework
  • Have a high level of autonomy
  • Focus pro-actively improving performance of the overall service delivered
  • These roles and responsibilities may increase with the growth of the portfolio
  • Fluent in English and French
