Sales Account Executive - Ingredients - New Jersey, USA
The sales account executive is responsible for selling natural ingredients and raw materials for use in flavors, fragrances and other related aromatic applications in addition to managing a client book and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business.
Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and sales quotas (Revenues & Gross Margin).
Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
Unearth new sales opportunities through networking efforts
Ability to create long term partnerships by introducing products and services.
Present products to existing and prospective clients.
Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication.
Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your territory to understand their needs.
Respond to complaints and resolve issues with a lens for customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation.
Negotiate spot sales, forward contracts. Long-term agreements should involve Director of Sales and/or SVP.
Keep records of sales and data including but not limited to visit reports, company insights, sales potential in volume and value, and Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001
Remain accountable for all defined responsibilities as defined by ISO 9001 process flows market share.
BS/BA degree in business administration, sales or marketing.
Business negotiation skills.
Sales/Marketing or Chemical degree w/ commensurate experience.
Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service roles.
Strong relationship building ability
Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office / Office 365.
Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Enthusiastic and passionate.
Ability to travel.
