Harrison Frazer are currently partnered with a multinational flexible packaging organisation who are searching for Business Development Manager in Thailand with sales responsibility for the APAC region. 

The ideal candidate will be based currently in or close to Bangkok and will possess an extensive track-record of account management success within flexible packaging. The position will involve leading a team of sales representatives across the regionand will require a candidate with the ability to communicate effectively with both large and small clients/customers.

Additional responsibilities for the role include:

-Managing the needs of existing customers and cultivating new business development opportunities across the APAC region.

-Providing a platform to address and specific or general customer issue and highlighting ways in which this issue can be rectified as quickly as possible.

-Performing in-depth competitor research and analysing potential strategies to increase customer market share.

-Supporting the sales staff to achieve their individual objectives and providing them with advice to help contribute to the overall team objectives.

-Working effectively with cross-functional departments, in particular manufacturing/product development.

-Delivering product presentations and attending corporate exhibitions/seminars.

-Attending strategy meetings with senior leadership employees and effectively communicating the current market outlook in APAC.

-Organising sales training for team members and coaching them to improve their individual performance/abilities.

-Prepare budgets, reports and forecasts [monthly and annually].


Minimum Requirements:

-At least 5 years sales experience within flexible packaging [print and flexible plastic would be preferred].

-Knowledge of working with large blue-chip customers within the food, beverage or FMCG industries.

-Based in Bangkok or in commutable distance to the city centre [Candidates from outside Thailand maybe considered for this position however this will be assessed on a case by case basis. Please note that relocation allowance will not form part of the overall package on offer for this position].

-Management experience [leading a team of either sales or customer service employees].

-Excellent communication skills.

-Ability to speak English is compulsory and the ability to speak Thai is highly desired.
